2016 Simulation Elections Edit

In 2016, Reagan0 became the presumptive Republican nominee after defeating Juteshire, WIA16, APott, and his future running mate NotReallyBigfoot in the Republican primaries. On the Democratic side, Venom_Big_Boss became the presumptive Democratic nominee/ after defeating IGotzDaMastaPlan, IlDuceWasRight, and his future running mate ArturPlaysGames. However, just a month from election day, Venom_Big_Boss could not continue his campaign, and the Democratic National Committee voted to make one_lone_wolf the Presidential nominee. On November 8th, 2016, Reagan0 was elected to become the 45th President of the United States, winning the electoral college 341 to 197 and the popular vote 53.2% to 46.8%, he will be sworn in on January 20th, 2017. NotReallyBigfoot was elected to become the 48th Vice President of the United States, he will be sworn in on January 20th, 2017. The Republicans retained control of the Senate, losing 4 seats, bringing the Senate to a 50-50 split, and a 51-50 majority with the Vice President's vote. The Republicans retained control of the House, gaining a net of three seats, they control the House 250 to 185.

Pre-Simulation Elections Edit

The simulation diverts from the beginning of the 2016 primary season, as such, the last set of elections which have taken place for the purposes of the simulation are the 2014 midterm elections, and the 2012 Presidential election.
